Outdoor Research Foray Super Stretch Jacket
Outdoor Research’s ForaySuper Stretch Jacket (for men) and Aspire Super Stretch Jacket (for women) are a windproof, waterproof hard shells with built-in stretch. They are ideal for activities where a huge range of movement is crucial in addition to waterproofness, such as mountaineering, climbing and hiking. The Foray / Aspire Super Stretch Jackets feature the new GORE-TEX 50D Paclite fabric with a 100% recycled, bluesign-approved fabric and this is coated with an environmentally-friendly DWR finish that’s free of PFCs to help protect our planet. On the back of the jackets, there is an integrated super-stretch GORE-TEX back panel that provides unmatched mobility. This helps provide a huge amount of arm and body mobility for everything from hiking and backpacking to mountaineering and carrying a pack. This stretchy panel is located between the shoulder blades and vertically between the hood and mid-back. To keep it waterproof Outdoor Research integrated elastane into the GORE-TEX fabric to create a super stretchy fabric that breathes and also keeps the weather out. If you do start to overheat the built-in hem-to-bicep TorsoFlo venting allows you to dump massive amounts of heat and moisture while not having to take the Foray off. This could well be the best rain jackets on the market so be sure to check them out.

        Patagonia Nano-Air Light Hybrid Hoody
Patagonia’s Nano-Air Hoody is an iconic jacket and now there is a Nano-Air Light Hybrid Hoody version. This lighter version is a more versatile mid-layer/outer layer depending on the weather. It uses 40g FullRange insulation on the front body and arms where the weather will impact warmth the most while the back and sides are constructed with technical R1 Air knit panelling for increased breathability and stretch. When wearing a pack the hollow-core yarns of the R1 Air knit panelling which uses a unique zigzag pattern wicks moisture away and dries faster keeping you more comfortable. The flyweight shell and lining fabric round things out and help make the Nano-Air incredibly breathable and ideal for high-exertion activities. The entire jacket is Fair Trade Certified sewn and the polyester shadow ripstop shell and lining use 100% recycled polyester with a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water-repellent coating that does not contain perfluorinated chemicals). The Full Range insulation is not only warm and stretchy but also provides excellent mobility and air permeability. Other features include a stretchy easy on-off hood, minimal center-front zipper, two low-profile hand warmer pockets with invisible zippers, and sleek partially elasticized cuffs.

        Tecnica Sulfur Shoes
Tecnica’s new Sulfur Shoes are an approach shoe designed for technical terrain, where grip, precision and climbing performance are required. Tecnica uses a unique, anatomic underfoot construction that adapts to the shape of your foot. This is part of Tecnica’s Adaptive Shape Technology or AST which combines different density adaptive EVA memory foams with pre-shaped thermoplastic inserts and an Ortholite footbed. Underneath the Sulfur Shoes, you’ll find a Vibram® Megagrip outsole that provides exceptional grip on both wet and dry surfaces with a flat climbing zone in the toe area for steeper rock terrain. Wrap-around protective rubber covers the toes and sides of the foot for better abrasion resistance and protection from the elements. Injinji makes a huge selection of five-toe performance socks which are designed to eliminate the friction that can cause blisters. They keep your toes free for a better feel and natural fit on uneven terrain. The advantage of this five-toe sock design is that when your toes are separated, properly aligned, and splayed it distributes your weight evenly which allows your entire foot to be engaged in any athletic activity. Their new Run Lightweight No-show Socks is their lowest-bulk sock and is built for all types of runs on all kinds of surfaces. They use a soft, durable, and seamless construction which creates a supportive, secure fit. A mesh top and COOLMAX® EcoMade fibres help keep feet dry and cool, and a band under the arch provides support and stability. The no-show length rests below the ankle and features a heel tab to protect against chafing and helps keep your socks from sliding into your shoes. Helly Hansen Odin 9 Worlds 3.0 Shell Jacket
Helly Hansen has taken their best-selling, professional-grade shell jacket, the Odin 9 Worlds, and now makes it with 68% Ocean Bound recycled materials in the exterior fabric. The result is the new Odin 9 Worlds 3.0 Shell Jacket with uncompromised weatherproofing, durability and evinronmental consciousness.

By using Ocean Bound polyamide, Helly Hansen aims to reduce the amount of plastic waste reaching the ocean while still maintaining the long life cycle of their jackets. This also helps reduce the dependency on petroleum as the raw material for creating fabrics and reduces the strain on the ecosystems. Ocean Bound polyester currently repurposes around 20 PET bottles for every shell jacket manufactured. In addition to this, the new Odin 9 Worlds 3.0 Shell Jacket has a lighter design for even better performance. It is built with a 3-layer, waterproof/breathable, and windproof fabric system to provide maximum protection from the elements. Features include a helmet and backpack-compatible design, ventilation zippers, an adjustable hem with taildrop, and a RECCO® rescue system transponder. Not only does this jacket use 68% Ocean Bound recycled materials in the exterior fabric but it is responsibly made with a certified bluesign® textile manufacturing process, which reduces waste in every step of the clothing supply chain. Helly Hansen continues to push the performance and socially responsible nature of their apparel and the Odin 9 Worlds 3.0 Shell Jacket is a great example of this.

        Jack Wolfskin Tapeless 2.0 Jacket
Jack Wolfskin is changing the game when it comes to apparel construction with its new Tapeless 2.0 Jacket. As the name suggests this jacket uses a proprietary, innovative manufacturing practice to eliminate 60 feet of seam-sealing tape per jacket. Seam tape is used to help waterproof a jacket and seals the seams where two fabrics meet. Seam tape is the weakest point in a jacket and usually the first component to fail. This 2.0 version of Jack Wolfskin’s tapeless technology now welds the fabric together rather than glueing or sewing it which maximizes the jacket's performance and makes it more waterproof, durable, and lighter. By using Texapore Core Fuse Stretch Ripstop 3L fabric the Tapeless 2.0 Jacket is waterproof, windproof, and very breathable. The fabric’s natural stretch properties provide impressive freedom of movement which helps make you more efficient when ski touring, hiking, and running. With a fully adjustable hood, hem, and cuffs it is easy to customize your fit. Jack Wolfskin also positioned the hand pockets slightly higher on the jacket so that they are pack and harness compatible. To help protect the environment, the Tapeless 2.0 uses a 100% PFC-free water-repellent finish, making it a more eco-friendly choice for outdoor adventures.

Trew Lightweight Nuyarn Merino Basic T
On the outside, this T-shirt looks like any other T-shirt but its fabric composition makes it perform like nothing else. Trew’s new Lightweight Nuyarn Merino Basic T is made from 120gsm Nuyarn Merino Wool which is a combination of 70% merino wool and 30% nylon core filament. We all know the benefits of merino wool and how it is temperature regulating and antimicrobial but Nuyarn has gone one better by adding nylon to improve all aspects of merino’s performance and durability. Tests have proven it to be 5X faster drying, 85% more elasticity, 50% greater tensile strength, 120% stronger seams, 8.8X more abrasion resistant, and provides 35% more thermal retention. The wool used in the Lightweight Nuyarn Merino Basic T is certified non-mulesed which treats the sheep more humanely. These sheep live in an open-range environment and are shorn annually to better care for their overall health. The wool is then spun in Bluesign and Oeko-tek 100 certified facilities so the environment and sheep are looked after from start to finish. This T-shirt has a clean, simple design with no pocket and only a subtle Sunrise TREW tag on the hem. It is ideal as a base layer in spring and fall or an outer layer in summer and great for travel when you have to wear the same T-shirt day after day after day. Stay dry and comfortable all day with this T-shirt that is stronger, lighter, warmer, stretchier, and quicker to dry.
