        GoPro Hero 9 Black
GoPro has long been the industry leader when it comes to action cameras and their new GoPro Hero 9 Black camera is their latest offering. The Hero 9 Black come with a long list of upgraded features and new functionality that makes it the best GoPro yet. The first thing you’ll notice is the full-colour front-facing screen (which makes selfies a breeze) and a larger rear screen which increased in size by about 16%. The Hero9 Black now captures 5k/30 resolution at 16:9 5120x2800 pixels up from the previous 4k. This allows you to easily take stills from video footage and also zoom in on video footage. The new 23.6MP photo mode gives you higher definition photos while the removable front lens allows you to incorporate 3rd party lenses or replace the existing lens if you happen to scratch it. Video mode now offers Hypersmooth 3.0 for more flexibility, Tirewarp 3.0 which allows you to pause and go to realtime video and Horizon Levelling which automatically keeps the horizon level in all your videos.

The battery has a 30% longer life and provides better cold-weather performance which is ideal for those winter backcountry ski edits. There is also now a webcam mode which allows you to plug and play with your laptop and the Hero9Black also now works with many more lives-stream platforms. You can also now schedule photo, time-lapse and video captures and set the duration of these captures as well.

The new GoPro Hero9 Black comes with an included travel case which eliminates all plastic shipping materials. It is priced at $399.99CAN / $349.98US with a GoPro Plus subscription which costs the same amount as just buying the unit with0ut the subscription so why not go ahead and do it.

Anyone would love to get the best GoPro to date as a present this holiday season.

        YETI Panga 100 Duffel
It may not be spring for another 4 months but better to be prepared for paddling seasons now. If you’re not a paddler then the YETI Panga 100 Duffel works extremely well as a bag for remote backcountry lodge trips or resort ski week away. This is YETI’s largest duffel at 100L, they also make a 50L and 75L Panga if you don’t need quite the room that the Panga 100 provides. All of the Panga Duffels keep your gear 100% dry thanks to the Laminated, high-density nylon fabric (which is nearly impenetrable to nature’s abuse) and the Hydrolok Zipper that is not only water but also air-tight. Inside the Panga there are two easy-to-access mesh pockets which keep your valuables safely tucked away. On the outside the EVA moulded bottom is not only sturdy but also waterproof (of course) and the builtin Drywall straps enable you to carry the Panga like a backpack. Like all YETI products, the Panga is built tough and will last a lifetime.
