Rogers Cherry Popped - Photo Comp

Just another Saturday in the storied Kootenays. Our crew loaded into the car with a gamble considering Hwy 1 had been closed for the entire day and night before. After a Timmy's stop in Golden we made it into a busy parking lot. I always get a little bit anxious when I see too many people at a ski spot, but in Rogers there's never anything to worry about.

All that ran through my head the entire way up Grizzly shoulder was how the Pass makes me into a kid every time I come. I'm always a kid in a candy store looking at each peak and dreaming up future visits. One of our party, John, was having his first day on his split. He told me the length of his board is 173 cm. Longer than most carving skis! We made our way up over Grizzly shoulder and headed towards the area called Puff Daddy.
