Canadian Adventure Company's Mallard Mountain Lodge has had Winter all Winter - and more to come!

Many thanks to Backcountryskiingcanada for running a contest for us earlier this year, with the winner receiving a  trip to Mallard Mountain Lodge. We just returned from a trip with the winner and other guests. As it has been all season, we had great "winter" conditions. Guides we have hired this year from various locations have noted that our conditions have been the best they have found all season. We are located at the confluence of an easterly flow of moist Pacific air and the cold air mass hovering over the Columbia Icefields just to our south. When we chose our location, we knew that this weather characteristic would deliver great snow even in a year like this one. Last season we skied to May 5 - this year will be the same.
