Skiing through Valhalla
The cool temps and clear skies have made for excellent travel conditions lately. Here's an edit from a quick ski tour from North Bannock Creek to Shannon Creek through the Valhallas. It's an incredible 67 km and 6400m jaunt that requires good stability as there are numerous solar cruxes and few options to work around elevated avalanche hazard.Arctos Guides offers private guiding, basecamps and traverses.
That sounds like an incredible journey! The Valhallas are known for their rugged beauty, and a ski tour through that terrain must be both challenging and rewarding. Covering 67 km and ascending 6400m is no small feat, especially with the need to navigate solar cruxes and manage avalanche hazards. It's definitely a route that demands respect and preparation.
