      Gnarly Performance Greens

Powdered greens are a popular way to supplement your diet by boosting your nutrient intake with a spectrum of whole-food ingredients and vitamins in a convenient powder format. You simply mix the powder with water, include it in your favourite smoothy or shake and drink. It is difficult for most people to get all the nutrients they need in a day due to their busy schedule, poor diet or a combination of the two and this is where Gnarly’s Performance Greens can help. It provides a similar boost to that of a multivitamin and gives your body all the micronutrients it needs to perform and recover optimally.

Powdered greens are a popular way to supplement your diet by boosting your nutrient intake with a spectrum of whole food ingredients and vitamins in a convenient powder format. You simply mix the powder with water, include in your favourite smoothy or shake and drink. Gnarly says that Performance Greens are a “whole food nutrition for active individuals which provide all the essential micronutrients for optimal performance, energy and recovery.” Performance Greens contain effective doses of whole food ingredients that are meaningful for athletes such as: beetroot, tart cherry and pomegranate for blood flow; Cordyceps and Ginseng for energy, Reishi for immune support, Omega 3’s to combat inflammation, probiotics for digestion/gut health and Turmeric for recovery. In addition, it’s a good source of Iron, Vitamin A, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Vitamin E and Vitamin C—which all occur naturally. Unlike most other powdered greens, Gnarly believes in full transparency and states right on the label what ingredients are included in their Performance Greens and how much of each is used—in both grams and daily value. Other brands typically use proprietary blends and won’t state what they are formulated with or how much of each ingredient is used, not so with Gnarly Performance Greens. Overall my diet is pretty clean and qualifies me as a pescatarian it can always use more greens and I’ve found that the convenience of Gnarly Sports Nutrition’s Performance Greens can’t be beat. I typically only eat two meals a day so starting my day off with a serving of Performance Greens mixed with 240-300ml / 8-10 oz of water provides me with a boost of nutrients that I feel good about taking first thing in the morning. Not to mention it’s also ideal to hydrate as soon as you wake in the morning and taking Performance Greens with a healthy dose of water is a great way to start the day hydrated. This is especially true when I have a hike, paddle, run or winter ski tour planned later that morning as the small number of calories included with the long list of nutrients and vitamins in the Performance Greens provides the boost I need to make it until lunchtime. The flavour is also far better than most powdered greens on the market as it’s not overpowering, not too sweet (thanks to stevia leaf extract) but just the right combination that makes me feel like I’m looking after my health. Features: A whole food mix, made with carefully selected ingredients at effective doses Packed with a range of micronutrient-rich, organic superfoods to support optimum performance and recovery Great-tasting formula Vegan, GMO-free, soy free and gluten-free Gentle on your stomach Easily absorbed Contains no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners Fully transparent ingredient list with the amount of each in grams and percentage of the daily value NSF Sport Certified Contains: 100% Recommended Daily Allowance of 14 Vitamins and Minerals 100% Vegan Vitamin D 500mg of Organic Beet Root, Organic Cordyceps, Organic Turmeric Cordyceps for energy Turmeric to optimize recovery.
