Cody Townsend finishes "The Fifty", except he doesn't?
The last episode of "The Fifty", freeskier turned ski mountaineer Cody Townsend's quest to climb and ski the fifty classics, came out last week. Numbered 46/50, this clearly isn't a job done.
However, the last 4 classics include some of the most elusive descents in North America, including Mt Robson, which has only been skiedby three people, officially. Most recently in 2017, solo, by Dylan Cunningham. As Cody explains in the video below, this is the end of the series for now, but not the end. We look forward to seeing the next 4 classics get skied in the future, but in the meantime, thank you for taking us along for the ride, Cody!
