6 Year Old Girl Successfully Climbs Mt. Whitney

As someone who has climbed Mt. Whitney in California I know that this isn't an easy mountain to ascend. It's a long, tiring slog for even the most fit. It's a round trip of around 35km with an elevation gain of 1860m meters to reach the summit at 4421 meters. Many people split it up over two days to acclimatize but many also make a one day push taking anywhere from 10 t0 20 hours to complete it.

It's pretty cool when you see kids out hiking but even cooler when they accomplish impressive feats like climbing the highest mountain in the contiguous United States. Watch below as 6 year old Eva Luna Harper-Zahn makes her way to the top of Whitney with her fater.
