A tiny upside-down tent stove from down-under

Hi there from the land from down-under,
We don’t have your big mountains or your powder. However we do have our alpine pimples and a type of snow that gives us considerable backcountry skiing pleasures with only rare threats of  avalanches.
 
 

 
 
Ski backpacking is one such pleasure. A little tent stove can make it even more pleasurable for the evenings or for a breaks from the skiing in poor weather. That comfort of warmth and cooking can be provided from burning a few dead sticks in a tent stove with an inverted or upside down burner. The pleasure is enhance even more if the stove is a little round pack worthy bundle that adds only 400g to your pack and it can fit inside a 1L cooking pot.
 
The roll up stove pipe fits inside the stove while backpacking. My special telescopic stove pipes can be rapidly rolled up (or down) with the holding rings left in place without crinkling the foil. Here is a little demonstration video.
   
 
The stove that is very efficient at burning long sticks in an inverted burner. The stove self feeds wood stick on demand and produces a steady stream of wood gas that is totally consumed by its gas flame at very high temperatures. The stove burns 7g/min or 0.25oz/min) with minimal fuel preparation.
 

 
 
The stove can be mounted on poles above a deep snow surface and a wood stick storage/drying rack can be lashed below the stove. It is very suited to a tent with the comfort of a snow pit.
 

 
The upside-down burner means that the stove has lean, clean, and smoke free combustion even with damp fuel sticks. It can provide abundant heating and cooking for the occupants of a small tent. Allowing for a 70% heat exchange efficiency, the estimated heat output is 1000watt or 1kWh/hour.
