Do you love a good Adventure in the Mountains?

Want to try out the latest and greatest technical gear from Mountain Hardwear?

Backcountry Skiing Canada has teamed up with Mountain Hardwear to choose three new Brand Ambassadors to help them test and promote the best new outdoor gear.

        Mountain Hardwear Brand Ambassador

        How it works:

If you’re a wild mountain man or woman who gets out climbing, hiking, camping, paddling, running, mountaineering and more, then we want you! Simply respond to this post with one good reason why you should be chosen to be one of the three Mountain Hardwear Ambassadors. Enter once per day until we draw three winners at end of day on June 15th to increase your odds of winning!

        What you’ll do:

Get outside and test Mountain Hardwear’s latest gear and share your experiences on social media. Mountain Hardwear will be sending out bi-weekly challenges you can complete to help you get fired up and get you playing outside!

        What you get:

A kit containing the top-of-the-line Mountain Hardwear gear for this season will be shipped to the three winners. Have a look at what our kit contained in the images below. We received a  Mountain Hardwear Super Chockstone Jacket, an Ozonic 65 Outdry Backpack, Wicked Short Sleeve T, Drummond Short Sleeve Shirt, and a Foam Trucker Cap. (Note: Female kit also available!)

        Are you “Different Inside”?

Hey BCSC! I belive I'm a great choice for the winner of being an ambassador because I have a passion for the outdoors, and escaping the confines of civilization. I love to go where I cant be found. Im an avid hiker, and subsequently I love to go camping in the backcountry. One thing I find most exciting is spotting somewhere new to try and get too, and then making my way there, and surrounding myself in natureLaugh Hope this serves as a good reason to be chosen as a mountain hardwear ambassador!
        Cheers!

A few good reasons. 30+ days a season in the backcountry ski mountaineering. 100+climbs a year. A ton of mountaineering. And a volunteer project manager for the spearhead huts. Mountains are what make me thrive. 3weeks ago I did a 1000' multipitch on a blown ACL 2 days before surgery. I need to test gear as tough as me and my skiing/climbing style.

I would love to be a part of the team representing Mountain Hardwear. The best reason: I am committed to raising my son in a manner that is consistent with Mountain Hardwear's commitment to sustainability and adventure. Nature is our playground and we spend every waking moment seeking adventure outside togther. I thought the #findingwinter campaign was epic and have already started posting for #capturetheinfinite. Would love to showcase the gear along with all my adventures just #beingdad.

Well, why would I be the Brand Ambassador? First, because i leave on the East Coast. Exploration is part of my passion of ski touring, rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, outdooring. Nothing is easy down there. We have to drive hours and miles to get some fresh powder, either in the closest White Mountains or farther away in Gaspesie Peninsula. We do not have big mountains in our backyard, we really have to look for them and explore to get the most of what mother nature can offer. Born and raised in France, close to the Alps, I have the mountain streams running through my veins. PLEASE MAKE ME BRAND AMBASSADOR !

I would love to be a MH Ambassador.  I've been jealous of those who get those kits for a while now.  I think I would be a good brand ambassador not only because of my passion for the outdoors, and adventure but also because of my active leadership in climbing and skiing in my community.  I'm an active leader in the ACC - Vancouver, BCMC and the VRCG (vancouver rock climbing group)  Regularly setting up and leading trips, anywhere from day cragging to hiking, mountaineering, and ski touring.

The mountains are my second home and are a huge passion in my life and I love to share these experiences with as many people as I can.  For that reason I think that I would make a good brand ambassador.

I should be an ambassador because I ski and climb harder than most guys. Not to mention MHW rocks!

Yes!  I should be one of the Mountain Hardware ambassadors because I have am wearing right now the Mountain Hardware vest that I bought 19 years ago.  Since they have been around 20 years, that must have been their second year in business.

I wear it all the time – skiing, hiking, climbing, sailing and to work and it has not worn out.  Also, I am female so I can test out the woman's kit you have available.

Oh, and I am a part of the Vancouver Island Alpine Club and help run the only youth alpine division in Canada so I will show all the kids my vest, made by Mountain Hardware, that is older than they are, and tell them what amazing gear Mountain Hardware makes.  Surprised

With a lifetime of mountain exploits I can garentee to bring home the goods for the remainder of my life climbing and exploring the wilder sides of the worlds mountains and ranges.

My friend once snaked MHW athlete Sean Cochrane on a line in Rogers Pass, then snaked him again later that evening at the grocery store checkout. My friend lets me ski with him, so I guess that makes me pretty rad.

In case you were wondering, "Who remembers what year they bought a vest?", I thought I would explain. Just the other day I was looking at some photos of when I received my Kyokushin karate black belt.  I was wearing my Mountain Hardware vest!  Of course I remember the date I got my black belt, I had to do 40 full contact fights for that.

I would make a great ambassador because I spend most of my time outdoors. I ski, run, climb, hike, camp, bike and do yoga and am generally up for anything.  I am constantly introducing new friends to the outdoors and activities and help them pick out gear.  I am also planning on going to Chile for a month in September to ski and surf so what better place to put gear to the test! I also believe in sustainability and buying products that last like Mountain Hardwear.

        Hi there!

I would LOVE to be a brand ambassador for MH!

Whether I am challenging myself on the peak of a mountain, ice climbing in Ouray, or trekking the high passes of Bhutan, my MH gear has always performed and MH is my brand of choice!

I am heading to Mount Elbrus this summer and my pink MH Nilas will be on that summit with me!

As a petite lady climber, I'm thankful that MH has performance gear that actually fits me that is perfect for my alpine adventures!

Mountain addict and social media junkie – Choose me! :)

        Steph
