Black Diamond Alias Pack Review
In 2012 Black Diamond released the Alias pack with AvaLung technology, a system that extracted oxygen from the surrounding snow and made it available threw a tube on your should strap, (in case of avalanche burial). The pack was great; it had all the features expected of a backcountry pack. The single strap closure design was well constructed and eliminated the need for two straps. The AvyTool pocket was large and easy accessible, and could fit wet skins for the ride down. The top pocket was huge, although there was no hidden pocket under the lid.
