WNDR Rendezvous Backcountry Safety Courses

WNDR Skis, based out of Salt Lake City Utah is a pretty innovative company. Not only did they develop "AlgalTech" which is an Algae replacement for petroleum (this process uses biotechnology to design new materials from microalgae in their backcountry ski construction) but now they are also introducing their "WNDR Rendezvous Backcountry Safety Courses".



WNDR Skis wants to promote backcountry education and safety so when you buy a pair of their 20/21 either the Intention 110 or Vital 100's (until 10/2), then you get free safety training in their native Wasatch Range. There are two tiers of courses to choose from, the first tier is a foundational day-long introduction into managing backcountry hazards and navigating avalanche terrain. The secondary tier serves as a refresher course for individuals who have already completed their AIARE 1 or 2 certifications.

This coming winter season backcountry education is more crucial than ever to handle the massive influx into out-of-bounds riding.
