To isolate the headrest from the backrest and seat, Nemo equipped the Satellite with its proprietary Flex Isolator™ technology. As you shift positions in the seat, no tension transfers up into the headrest because these two zones operate independently. The backrest includes a stabilizing crossbar for enhanced support, while the seat is crafted from a breathable, body-conforming mesh to optimize both comfort and temperature regulation. The frame uses shock-corded aluminum poles with ball-and-socket mounts that connect each pole tip to the chair’s seat for a quick, intuitive setup similar to the award-winning Moonlite series.
Despite its full-size support, the Satellite Reclining Camp Chair packs down remarkably small into the included sling-style Platform Pack carrying case, leaving extra room for a light layer, snacks, or a water bottle. When unfolded flat, the carrying case doubles as a sturdy base platform to prevent the chair legs from sinking into sand or soft ground.
