MEC Couloir Gore-Tex Pro Jacket & Bib Pants

This full-featured kit is designed for skiers, climbers and hikers and uses three-layer GORE-TEX Pro for optimal breathability and weather protection with their 20k/20k waterproof/breathability rating. The Couloir jacket has a helmet-compatible hood and underarm vents to dump heat fast. Two front pockets are positioned high enough so that you can still access them when wearing a climbing harness or backpack. There are also two large internal dump pockets for goggles, skins or extra gloves. Read all about the Couloir Jacket and Bib Pant's features in our full review over here.

      MEC Couloir

The pants have an integrated bib for those deep-deep days with built-in internal gaiters to keep the snow from getting in your boots. Strategically placed pocket gives you access to essentials while two extra-long side vents ensure you won’t overheat when the climbing gets challenging. There are also long two-way side-entry zippers which extend from top of the bibs down to the knees for easy on and off. Like the jacket, the bib pants use an articulated design patterning to ensure unrestricted movement.

Good quality Gore-Tex jackets and pants for resort and ski touring can be expensive and limit your budget for other items on your gear wish list but this doesn’t have to be the case as MEC’s Couloir Gore-Tex Jacket & Bib Pants retail for under seven hundred dollars each. Built for winter adventure, the Couloir Gore-Tex Jacket & Bib Pants use a sleek design and durable fabrics so you can count on them lasting over time.
