      Vancouver based partner/group

      Hey there

      I'm looking for a person/group in the Vancouver area to go touring with this season. I'm a 30 year old with limited backcountry experience (AST1 and a few days in Rogers Pass), no vehicle and a lot of enthusiasm. I'm able to go 1 - 3 days a week (I work in a café so get some weekdays off).

      I spent last season in Revelstoke so my skiing's fine, and I walk up the Grouse Grind in about an hour. I'm looking to get as much experience as possible before my AST2 at the start of February.

      Jeez -- should be little problem in the Lower Mainland. Consider the http://bcmc.ca or ACC Vancouver Section http://accvancouver.ca

      MEC has cork boards where you can post for Trip partners..

      Hey Ed & Jesse,

      Vancouver based skier here looking for a partner/group to do some touring with as well. I have my AST 1. Strong skier but not a lot of backcountry experience (2 days). Easy going guy and pretty enthusiastic about getting out there. Day trips, camping, huts.

      I don't own a car but with enough heads up I might be able to borrow one.

      I work a Mon - Fri but taking time off is always an option. My cell is 778-227-6333
