      This weekend - beginner looking to play around, kananaskis, icefield....

      Hey I just bought a split board so am looking to get out of town this weeknd. I live in Calgary.

      I am new at backcountry touring so I am just looking for someone to get out and have some fun and practice with. I have my AST1 course so would love to do some practicing with that and get some turns in along the way. Looking for some easy terrain low risk areas (I know conditions are not great).  If anyone is interested in heading somewhere for a fun easy day this weekend I would love to meet up!  I dont know too many girls (or guys for that matter) that splitboard so it would be nice to make some friends Smile That being said I have no preference on gender or boarder/skiier.

      Hey check your Private Message.. I'm leaving earlier Saturday and staying the night in Louise. Looks like another mixed bag weekend with higher risk with the past temps and creaky snowpack.


      Safety in numbers.. I'm lookin forward to getting out to low risk terrain just to get out of the city. Reply back!
