Why couloirs are not for sledders - MOVIE
These movies are a little unbelievable - they have nothing to do with backcountry skiing but they do illustrate a good point about why you should "ski" a couloir and not "sled" it.
Luckily they look ok in the end, cannot say the same about the sled but if you do something this stupid you deserver to get your sled banged up. I just cannot believe the guy risks his life by jumping in front of the sled a second time about half way down the couloir?
