      VIDEO: The Musician

      At times, it can be easy to forget that celebrities, especially those outside our little outdoor tribe are as human as the rest of us. Ben Gibbard of popular alternative rock band Death Cab For Cutie is a rock star. It turns out, though that he's also a trail runner. In this piece for Salomon TV, he talks about the effect of running on his life and musical career, touching on many of the things that draw all of us to the outdoors. The video gives a great perspective on running from a bit of an outsider, humanises a rock star and profiles the running partner who ended up with perhaps one of the best jobs ever.
