I love you tube. Look what I found when I searched for "powder in July." Classic footage from 1961 - the big name ski stars of the day like Ron FunK, fly to New Zealand to ski the Tasman Glancier. The soundtrack is top notch and they even do jumps!
Looks like they've all mastered the bumb wiggle turn and the "rolling down the windows" jump. Good to see I'm on par with 1961 technique.
I'm kind-a disapointed that they're not wearing helmets. What kind of example did that show the kids of 1961?
