The Refuge

Call me a granola-eating, left-wing, tree-hugging, pinecone for TP using hippy but I always find myself thinking that we should do better for the planet because put simply, it's the right thing to do. These age-old arguments over the protection of our economy because we backed the wrong horse in the beginning just don't make any sense to me.  Putting your head in the sand while the world implodes doesn't make it implode any less, you just choose to ignore it. Toss in the age of the internet and social media and the sand gets real muddy real fast. The truth is, change, real impactful change and growth always come with discomfort. Complacency stifles growth, think about it.  Whether you're a kid on the high dive for the first time or in a position to enact large scale change, that first leap sure is scary but it's a lot easier if everyone is doing it.  Watch The Refuge, share it with friends and remember while of course, the economy is important should it be our number one priority as individuals?
