OFF GRID AN AUSTRALIAN BACKCOUNTRY SKIING SHORT FILM

Kangaroos, surfing, desert and of course backcountry skiing all come to mind when you think Australia right? Ok, maybe not but give the trailer "Off Grid – An Australian Backcountry skiing short film" a watch and then maybe you'll change your mind.

Filmed atop Mt Ingebyra, a mountain deep in the Australian Alps. This film explores the connection between skier and mountain.

Currently in Oz the season is just getting started as this is their winter season in the southern hemisphere. It's rolling in a little slow as you can see by this screen shot of the Perisher snow cam but it's happening.
