      Did you fill out a survey at Red Resort last week? If so you may have won a prize from BCA!

      As many of you know we are surveying skiers at Whitewater Ski Resort and Red Resort this winter to promote avalanche safety (get the full scoop here) and part of this is a random prize draw for several lucky winners. We are giving away prizes from Backcountry Access such as a DTS Transceiver, Stash Squal Packs, Probe, shovel and several Toques. From the Canadian Avalanche Centre we have a pair of Outdoor Reseach Northback Gloves, Marmot Thor tent, and several avi kits which include the Avaluator.

      I was at Whitewater last week and looked for the survey forms but couldn't find them. Can I fill one out online?

      Hey Dan, the surveys have to be filled out at either Red Resort or Whitewater just as you are heading into the backcountry. We will have a survey administrator at both resorts all winter long - typically on Saturdays and sometimes on Sunday for three hours at random backcountry access locations. Unfortunately filling it out on liune does not work as we need to know how prepared you are just as you head into the backcountry. Last weekend the survey admin was at Whitewater on Sunday from 10:00 - 1:00 on the silver king side and then the summit side.


      Keep an eye out for them each weekend and they would be happy for you to fill one out as lomng as you are going out ski touring and not riding the hill.
