Our friends at Patagonia are once again using their reach and influence for the common good. Over the last decade, we have shared various initiatives undertaken by Patagonia to fight climate change and protect the wild places we love. Here's another.This current effort is all around the upcoming US election. Though the US is another country, we definitely feel the impact of whatever administration is in power here in Canada.
The company will close its doors on voting day—as it has in years past—and this year, for the first time, employees will be offered up to four days off to train and serve as poll workers to help mitigate the nationwide shortage. As an added cheeky tactic, Patagonia has added a message to the underside of some of their current product tags. Nice one!
