New Years Challenge: Make Some Mountain Movie Magic

We know there are many creative minds among this community, so why not put that creativity towards making a short film and sharing it with the world?  From adventure films to documentaries, the Golden Film Festival is a great chance to feature back country stories with an eager audience.  The festival takes place March 26, 2017 and deadline for submissions is March 17, so now is the time to draw up some story boards, write a script, or just bring that new GoPro you found in your Christmas stocking on your next tour.
Festival organizer Jessie Oatway of Oatway Productions says you don't have to be the next Martin Scorsese or Christopher Nolan to participate, "Our filmmakers range from the first timer to the seasoned professional". But if you like a bit of competition, "All films will be judged prior to the event but there will be a peoples choice award as well picked by the audience".
