Marker Eder Ruin And Rose Athlete Edit
During your daily smartphone scroll this week you have probably seen Amba's latest edit or at the very least you have seen Hoji's making the rounds. Both edits are simply incredible in both skiing ability and cinematography combined with incredible locations. The latest athlete edit to be released is one by the young euro, Markus Eder. He has been pushing the sport from every angle these last few years whether it's competing on the Freeride World Tour or throwing doubles in the park. While each edit has been incredible I really enjoyed this one for the simple fact of how hard Markus skis on his Kingpins, proving that being on a tech binding is no excuse not to send it!

You might also be interested to learn that Hoji was using the Beast 14s last year for all his skiing, including the park skiing at Whistler featured in the Ruin and Rose edit. Tech bindings have come a long way for soft snow skiing. Below is a quote that Eric posted on one of the TGR forums:
" I exclusively skied the Beast 14's unlocked (except for the Whistler park shoot where I locked the toe for obvious reasons) the entire time I was filming with MSP last season and I experienced no failures, prerelease or breakages. The Beast 14 in my opinion is an amazing binding and it's performance blew my expectations out of the water: I was skeptical to ski the toe piece unlocked at first but as the season went on I became 100% confident in it's abilities and it has become my go to choice for charging."
I got a pair of the Marker Kingpin 13s last year and was impressed by their performance. I use them as a on-hill/side country binding mounted to some katanas. Very solid feeling binding on hard snow and no pre-releases!
