Every day is Earth day

 As outdoor enthusiasts, I think it's safe to say most of us will agree that we depend on the environment to keep living the lives we love. Yesterday was Earth Day, but as the slogan goes, every day is earth day; and while designated days and demonstrations are a key player in raising awareness, more direct action is what really makes a difference. One such group that is constantly making such moves is Protect Our Winters (POW). 



 As of this year, POW will have been around for a decade. Their focus is on educational initiatives, political advocacy, and community-based activism. With deep routes in the snowboard industry, this group is all about stepping up to the challenges of climate change so that future generations can continue to enjoy the mountains like we have been so lucky to do.
