Coastlines. Backpacking the Sunshine Coast Trail. Video

BC's Sunshine Coast is a cool locale no matter what your mode of transport: paddle, hike or bike. We've done the trip up to Desolation Sound for multi-day kayak adventure and come back through Powell River for a couple days of gravel biking. 

This vid shows two intrepid souls starting at Powell River and making their way down to Gibsons. They are on heavy duty bike packing rigs but I'll bet most of the ride could be done on a gravel bike. As you can see in the vid, getting to the various ferries on time is a big factor. We were in a car driving up the coast and missed getting on by about two minutes. I'm not 100% sure but I think they'll let bikes on after they are at capacity car-wise. Another good reason to travel on two wheels.
