      Sneak Peek – 2014/2015 Patagonia Gear from winter OR Show

      Patagonia has always been at the forefront of innovation and environmental awareness in this consumerism based world. Purchasing a product created with the planet in mind and that will last you a lifetime may just be your best bet yet. With this in mind here are a few of the new products available next season from Patagonia:


      *NEW* – Men's Nano-Air Jacket

      Weight: 353g / 12.5oz
      Sizes: XS – XXL
      Shell Fabric: 1.3-oz 20-denier 100% nylon ripstop with mechanical stretch and a DWR.

      Lining Fabric: 2.0-oz 50-denier 100% nylon plain weave with mechanical stretch and a DWR finish. Insulation: 60-g FullRange™ 100% polyester stretch insulation.

      An insulation breakthrough: the new Nano-Air™ Jacket featuring FullRange™ Insulation is warm, stretchy and so breathable, you can wear it for the entirety of any highly aerobic start-stop mission in the mountains.

      - Light-yet-durable 100% nylon ripstop shell and plain-weave liner offer generous

      mechanical stretch and exceptional breathability, with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

      - Revolutionary 60-g FullRange™ Insulation warms and stretches; combined with the shell and liner, this creates a jacket with generous mechanical stretch and unprecedented air permeability (40CFM).

      - Iconic Nano Puff® brick quilting in the side panels, articulated patterning and other quilting details improve shape and durability Center-front zipper has wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage at chin for next-to-skin comfort.

      - Two hand warmer pockets and a left chest pocket are zippered, welted and low bulk to wear comfortably with a harness or pack.

      Insulation: Traceable Down (third-party-certified, non-live-plucked, non-force-fed) 600-fill-power goose down.

      Minimalized to perfection, our Down Shirt exemplifies our less-is-more philosophy – 100% recycled polyester shell and liner, 600-fill-power Traceable Down, and essential pockets. That’s it.

      - Lightweight, windproof 100% recycled polyester shell and liner fabrics have a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

      - Traceable Down (third-party-certified, non-live-plucked, non-force-fed) 600-fill-power goose down is stabilized with a narrow quilting construction.

      - Center-front vision zipper with internal storm flap and chin guard.

      - Two external drop-in hand warmer pockets are set into the forward side seam.

      - Two internal drop-in pockets are created by the external hand pocket construction.

      - Simple reinforced quilting at hem and cuffs provides structure.

      - Jacket stows in either hand pocket.

      Body Fabric: 6.25-oz 210-denier nylon semi-dull double-ripstop and 6.05-oz 400-denier nylon ripstop. Lining Fabric: 1.8-oz 40-denier nylon double-ripstop with a polyurethane coating and silicone finish and 200-denier polyester.

      This versatile backpack is built to go light on routes from Fitz Roy to Chamonix, but willingly expands when you need to overstuff.

      Features:
      - Light and bomber nylon ripstop features excellent tear and abrasion resistance.

      - Spindrift collar opens wide for easy packing; drawcord simultaneously cinches collar and closes lid for a secure seal; additional spindrift collar deploys to protect your gear when you have overstuffed your pack.

      - Aluminum stay frame with tensioned mesh centre gives pack structure and helps to support heavy loads, but can be removed for lightweight pursuits.

      - Padded hip belt can be removed to create a simple webbing hip belt Centre sheath ice axe carry system accommodates a wide assortment of axes.

      - Daisy chains on front and side panels provide lashing options; compression straps on sides help manage different size loads; hydration bladder pocket.

      Body/Side Fabric:  3.8-oz (129 g) Polartec® Power Dry® High Efficiency™ fabric: solids, 92% recycled polyester/8% spandex; heathers, 61% virgin polyester/30% recycled polyester/9% spandex, with Polygiene® permanent odour control.

      Shoulders Fabric: 6.8-oz (231 g) Polartec® Power Dry® 93% polyester (41% recycled)/7% spandex. Fabric is bluesign® approved.

      Designed specifically for snow sports, the Capilene® 4 Pro Zip-Neck combines tried-and-true R1® fleece for core warmth and Capilene® 4 fabric panels for breathability.

      - Polartec® Capilene® 4 fabric’s open grid pattern next to skin provides superior warmth, breathability and moisture-wicking performance through much of the body and underarms, and Polartec® R1® fleece provides additional warmth around the core and shoulders.

      - Thumb loops for secure hand coverage.

      - High collar with anatomical shaping for coverage and warmth.

      - Long centre-front zipper vents body heat and is backed by kissing welts for low-bulk comfort next to skin.

      - Cut long enough to tuck in.

      - Machine-wash cold, tumble dry at low temperature.

      Solid Fabric: 92% recycled polyester/8% spandex; heathers, 61% virgin polyester/30% recycled.

      Seat/Knee Fabric: 6.8-oz (231 g) Polartec® Power Dry® 93% polyester (41% recycled)/7% spandex. Fabric is bluesign® approved.
