New Camelbak Hydration Products - VIDEO

Camelbak has long been known as a top shelf hydration company and this fall they are releasing a few new products that you’l likely want to know more about.

At this years Outdoor Presscamp Camelbak showed off their newly designed Crux Lumbar Reservoir which has a 3L capacity and has a horizontal rectangular shape rather than the traditional vertical orientation. This allows the mass of the Lumbar Reservoir to stay low in your pack and keeps that almost 7lbs of weight next to your back for improved stability and comfort. This new Crux Lumbar Reservoir can be found in several new packs in Camelbak’s fall line up including the Camelbak Franconia Low Rider 24 Pack. With 24 L of internal space their’s plenty of space to carry your gear. The Crux Lumbar Reservoir takes up 3L of space so you are left with an additional 21L for your gear. The comfort is immediately evident and after a long summer hike you’ll be lovin’ the Air Suspension Back Panel which keeps the pack off your back for increased ventilation.

There are also two new products on the running side that you should know about and these are the Camelbak Quick Stow Flask & Camelbak Quick Stow Chill Flask. Both of these hydration flasks have 500ml of capacity and are made BPA/BPS/BPF free. The Chill Flask differs in that it has a built in insulation layer to keep the contents twice a cold as the regular flask.

Having tested all of these products last week hiking around Deer Valley Ski Resort I can attest to their innovative design and echo their advantages. While I got a sneak peek at these new Camelbak products you’ll have to wait until this fall before you can purchase them.

Have a watch of the following video to get a quick overview of these products and read more below for additional details.
