Dynafit TLT Radical ST Alpine Touring Binding -- Review

To the converted, thers is no question: "I'll never go back," "Holy sh_t they're light!" "It's like they're not even there." Get over the fact that, with these and other Dynafit bindings, you are "pinched in" rather than "clamped down" and you'll soon appreciate the wonders of the Radical ST. For all but the most serious of cliff huckers (try the beast) these bindings are superior for touring -- even on fatties. Read more.

Good review, great enthusiasim and i don' t want to be a buzz kill, but dude, the news is old, like, way. That's why most peeps have ' em,even used for resort pow days since they're on their favorite fatties already.Tough and keep on gettin' tougher.

I think we are in agreement Paul.

I agree with Paul, this is old news and the reviewer should know that by now (he's been on them for 7 years).

A review is more useful when it compares a product to its competition. It should not be called a review if the purpose of the article is to convince people to try a tech binding coming from a frame one.

Dynafit has more competition now than 5 years ago so it would be interesting to see in detail if the radical is better, equivalent or worse. Would be interesting to compare it to the Vertical models as well which are still available.

Please get into the details and technical aspects, and the durability over multiple seasons. Maybe get some warranty statistics if possible, or extrapolate from dealers willing to share that info.

Thanks for the input JF. This one of our first reviews of a tech binding so we are hoping it's helpful for some tourers–most of whom aren't on tech bindings. I hear what you are saying though–all good points and things we'll consider. Hopefully, we'll have a scoop on the G3 ION tech binding to share soon. 'got to fondle it last weekend!
