Is the updated YETI Camino 50 Carryall Tote Bag worth the price?

YETI uses a highly durable, waterproof, and puncture-resistant ThickSkin™ material for the tote’s shell and an EVA-molded bottom for stability, so it’s built tough—just like their Panga 100 Duffel Bag. It can easily withstand sharp rocks, extreme temperatures, and rough treatment. Welded seams make it fully waterproof, so contents stay dry even in wet conditions, and cleaning is simple—just hose it off or wipe it down.

YETI Camino 50 Carryall Tote Bag

With a generous 50-litre capacity, the Camino 50 Carryall Tote can easily accommodate groceries, ski equipment, beach supplies, or other adventure gear. It is extremely versatile and even features two deployable internal dividers for better organization. For smaller items, there are two interior zippered pockets to ensure your valuables stay safe and secure.

When fully loaded, the thick shoulder straps and metal-reinforced handles provide comfortable carry options. The external gear-attachment loops offer a sturdy hitching point to tie it down or lash other items to it. A hook-closure system easily secures the opening to prevent contents from falling out while keeping dirt and moisture at bay.

At $250, this is undeniably an expensive tote bag. However, when you consider the premium materials, rugged design, and long-lasting durability, the investment becomes clear. The Camino 50 Carryall Tote will last a lifetime and handle whatever punishment you throw at it. Mine lives in my car, where I’ve mainly used it for grocery runs so far, but I plan on packing it full of ski gear this winter. Come spring, it’ll be my go-to paddling tote, keeping all my SUP gear organized and ready. Versatility is its greatest feature, and the waterproof, snow-proof materials make it ideally suited for year-round use.

If you need a robust, catch-all tote for heavy and messy gear in wet or dirty environments, the Camino 50 Carryall Tote is for you. If you just want to take it to the grocery store, that works too!
