Fjallraven Keb Agile Winter Hiking Pants Review
Finding the perfect pant for high-output winter activities can be a challenge. You need a pair that balances warmth, weather protection, and, most importantly, mobility. Fjallraven answers the call with their Keb Agile Winter Hiking Pants, a technical soft-shell trouser designed for the demands of cold-weather trekking, climbing, and even ski touring.

We put these pants through their paces in the Canadian backcountry to see if they live up to the premium Fjallraven reputation. The core of the pant is a durable, double-weave, four-way stretch fabric with a brushed interior, providing both exceptional freedom of movement and necessary warmth. Fjallraven strategically placed their robust G-1000 stretch fabric to reinforce high-wear areas like the knees, thigh pockets, and leg endings, ensuring these pants can handle encounters with rock, ice, and ski edges.
While not a fully waterproof hardshell, the PFAS-free DWR finish capably sheds light snow and resists wind. When the ascent gets steep and you start to heat up, massive hip-to-knee zippered vents allow for excellent temperature regulation. Smart features like zippered gussets to accommodate ski touring boots and integrated boot hooks round out a very capable package. Are they the perfect winter pant?
