Bootdoc Hotronic Boot Dryer

The Bootdoc Hotronic Boot Dryer is an excellent gentle tool for drying any of your winter boots or shoes. Its gentle drying design, a combination of a small fan and low heat, means there will be no damage to your boots or shoes.

The low power and heat requirements also mean it can be plugged into a 12 V cigarette lighter in your vehicle, both two and from the back country. It also is small enough to fit into a small stuff sack.

I am thinking that these would particularly be useful for multiday ski trips to dry your ski boots in the hotel over night. If you are drying your boots at home, I would be tempted to plug the Boot Dryer into a timer to shut off after 12 hours.

The instructions do not say how much power they are using nor how hot the Boot Dryers get, however, on my infrared temperature gun they register 32 C or 53.5 F when plugged in.
