PHOTO CONTEST - Garibaldi Neve Traverse
A Coastal Mountain classic! We skiied into a light snow on the way up to Elfin Lakes hut, which turned to a white-out the next day. We made it about half way across the Neve, navigating by map and compass (check out the white out shot), before setting up camp for the day. Spent the rest of the afternoon brewing tea and making snow walls around our tents and by evening the sky had cleared. Had an awesome ski across the rest of the glacier the next day under a clear blue sky (great lighting for photos). Loads of snow up there and the snow pack seemed well consolidated for spring skiing.
