Avalanche and backcountry litterature
Hello,
I'm just getting into backcountry skiing and I'm wondering if there's any litterature on avalanche safety and safe travel in the backcountry that anyone can recomend? I'm looking to take the AST1 as soon as possible but would like to read up on as much as I can now.

The best avalanche book I have read is called "How to stay alive in Avanalnche Terrain" by Bruce Temper of the Utah Avi Centre. It's published by The Mountaineers Books.

Yup,what he said.Get it,read it often,and soak it up.It's full of pics,real life stories and comical reflections,a great read.I go thru it annually for a review and to get the stoke on in the pre season
