Mt. Macpherson Advice?

  • 2013-12-16 15:53:38

Is anyone able to give any description of the Mt. Macpherson terrain? Particularly what it might be like this time of year? I'm hoping to get out here or around Trout Lake in another week, but I know the hills could still use a bit more snow.

Anyone been out in these areas this year?

Some areas still have quite a few alders sticking out but depending on your sense of humour, it's not that bad.  The freezing level has been high (over 1000m) for a few days.  The bottom is likely in poor condition but higher up should be quite good.  More snow and cooler temps are on the way so things should improve.

Great. We might try to head up there this weekend then. Thanks for the info
