We are on parallel thinking as I beat you to the punch on the skins and Hannibals , though I wrote about my first impressions on the Hannibal 94.

It sounds like a pretty similar experience. I don't know what size skier you are, but I am not a big guy and feel like the Hannibal 94 will be adequate for most conditions and maybe a little better on harder snow. Totally agree about it not being a good resort ski (though until I get another pair I'm using them there as well).

About the flex: I actually chose the Fischer because of the softer flex. I am coming off of 20+ years of tele and just switched to AT, so I figured it would be a more familiar feel. I am also not a really agggressive skier. I had been debating between the Blizzard ZeroG 95 and the Hannibals, and had read that the Blizzards are pretty stiff and tend to deflect in cruddier snow unless you are more aggressive, rather than roll with it.

Great to have your input on this and also hear you feel the same way. We reviewed the Zero G 95 Skis over here and liked them - although still more of a dedicated touring ski given it's incredible light weight!
