        Backcountry in beaver valley area

        Hey guys.

Yesterday just went up Talisman (Closed down ski hill off of hwy 13) and had a hoot. Skied far right and got some fun lines in. 30-35 cms. Could only ski top half of the hill but still had some turns that put a grin on my face.  If anyone is interested in finding new areas and lines around Collingwood and beaver valley, let me know.

Hey!! First post on this forum, but I am very interested in touring Talisman and exploring the surrounding beaver valley area.  I just picked up a pair of armada jj's, guardian bindings and some g3 skins and have yet to do any kind of touring.  Talisman was exactly where I was thinking of testing out my rig in Ontario Smile

If you are interested in having someone join you for some touring adventures in Ontario let me know!!

Good choice. I have been seriously thinking of poaching Talisman, but alas I have lots of powder here I live north of Huntsville and I can't be bothered with the long drive. Try Devil's Glen south of the ski hill, there is lots of skiable lines righ off the Bruce Trail, all private land so you didn't hear it from me!

        Hi

Was up this past summer checking out the area for some splitboarding possibilities. Hoping to meet up with some fellow touring partners. Spent 3 weeks last winter in Wasatch range and Chic Chocs. Looking for something a little more local, Sarnia here.... for day tour and riding.

This is my first post to this forum as well. I'm hoping to do a little touring this winter in the Beaver Valley and Devil's Glen areas. I would be interested in meeting up with people who want to do the same.

Hi there, this is also my first post to this forum as well.  I just got some touring gear pieced together over the past few months K2's with marker duke bindings and was looking to do some exploring of some areas in and around beaver valley, devils glen, blue mountain, etc... basically anywhere is the grey/bruce area, and eventually would like to make it up to Huntsville area for some more northern exposure.

Would love to know if anyone has any maps, links, etc. for anything in these areas.  Just looking to get out and enjoy the winter on skis wtih any like minded individuals!

If interested send me an email; lwheildon@hotmail.com

        Keep your tips up!

        Hey there,

Just wondering if anyone enforces the "no trespassing" sign at Talisman. Are there any public lands spots to splitboard around the beaver valley area?

Also, does anyone know of any other spots around Southern Ontario or the Niagara Escarpment? I'm new to splitboarding in this area and I'm looking for a touring partner.

        Sean
