For what its worth I was in at Grassy about 4 weeks ago and coverage was 100%, not much snow has fallen since then but then again not much has melted off up high. Are you doing the complete traverse?

Just came out on Sunday.  Conditions were solid but probably due to the sub -20 temps for Sat/Sun.  Classic trouble finding the Steed hut, and then the lantern wouldn't work!  Had to dig out the chimney at the Copper hut and melt out the snow that was clogging it before getting the stove really going.  Bit of a smokey ordeal but the chimney was buried .5 m below the snow!  We were the first in their since the beginning of Feb.

Skiing wasn't great with some sun crusts and sled tracks but had a nice final run into Barrett lake with 20 cm of blower on the crust which skied super fast!  Overall a wicked trip.  Final day is really a notch about the others in terms of exposure but we picked our way through.
