he Backcountry Skiing Canada community is passionate about the mountains, and that passion doesn't hibernate in the summer. We've heard your requests for more detailed summer gear reviews, and we're excited to announce that we're making it happen!
We're officially expanding our coverage to include in-depth reviews of summer gear and apparel. From multi-day treks to fast and light trail runs, we'll be putting the latest equipment to the test. To start, we're launching a "Best Of" series covering the best hiking shoes and trail running shoes of the season.
This site has always been about community, and this expansion is no different. To ensure our new reviews are as helpful as possible, we need your input. Please take a few minutes to fill out our survey on hiking and trail running. Your insights into what you look for in gear will be invaluable as we develop this new content.
