    • Smartwool Smartloft Hooded Jacket and Pants

    Smartwool Smartloft Hooded
    Jacket and Pants

For Fall 2024, Smartwool has released the Smartloft Hooded Jacket & Pants which use their proprietary Smartloft wool insulation. This 50% recycled wool insulation is made from Smartwool’s thermal base layer scraps and is warm and light. It is strategically placed in the jacket and pants to provide warmth only where needed. Smartwool places 40 grams of Smartloft insulation where less warmth is required and 60 grams where more heat loss occurs to help you stay warm. You can see on the jacket there is less insulation under the arms, at the elbows, sides and on the back whereas in the pants less insulation is found on the back of the knees and outer legs. This not only helps with temperature regulation but also with a better range of motion and dynamic stretch so that the Smartloft Hooded Jacket & Pants move with you while enjoying active pursuits. A DWR finish on the exterior of the fabric helps protect you from the elements, while a soft Merino lining on the inside is soft and warm against your skin.

The jacket has an adjustable hood to help protect you from the elements, two zippered hand pockets, one zippered internal chest pocket and thumbholes at the cuff. The pants have two zippered hand pockets and adjustable zips at ankles to accommodate larger footwear and an adjustable waistband for a comfortable fit.

The Smartloft Hooded Jacket & Pants are available for men and women, with or without a hood, or as a vest. All the variations work to facilitate layering under other layers or as a shell.
