Gregory Verte 18 Backpack
The Gregory Verte 18 was a late addition to this year’s Holiday Gift Guide, so we have not had a chance to really test it at the time of writing. However, this is one item I am really looking forward to doing a lot of testing with. There are two activities I think the Verte 18 is going excel at is sidecountry and shorter backcountry routes.
On the resort side the 16 liters is ample room to carry an extra layer or two of clothing, some lunch, and the side straps can synch it down even further to make it more lift friendly. And for the sidecountry it still has lots of room for shovel, probe, first aid kit, skins, some extra clothing and 1-liter hydro pack. This should also be ample supplies for non-technical days in the backcountry.
