The bag is very light and has 4 internal straps to secure your skis in the right places. There is additional foam padding to both protect your skis and provide some additional structure. There are 4 re-enforced handles that allow for multiple carrying options. 

A nice bonus feature is a tuckaway strap in the middle of the bag to attach an additional duffle bag or pack.
