Frode Sandbech wins the #wssf Pro Photographer Showdown in Whistler
The Pro Photographer Showdown has been going 20 years strong in Whistler as part of the Whistler Ski + Snowboard Festival. This year we were treated to an incredible slideshow by Frode Sandbech of Oslo Norway.
He won over the judges and crowd's vote by a landslide. Here's why:
The WSSF wraps up another ski season on Whistler Mountain, with Blackcomb staying open for another month longer. On the first weekend of the festival we were treated with a rare sight: sunshine. De La Soul rocked the main free stage on a beautiful day (one of the funnest shows I've seen in a looonng time), then the typical cold + rain of April came back to close out the festival and Big Air.
Another great year. Getting to see Frode's incredible photos was definitely the highlight for me though!
