        Ortovox PEAK 45 Pack
If you are in the market for a versatile, multifunctional pack that can comfortably carry the gear you need to go ski touring, mountaineering, hiking or climbing then Ortovox’s new PEAK Pack is for you. It is available in a variety of sizes including 32S (small fitting), 35, 42S, 45, 52S, and 55L as well as a Peak Light version in 30S, 32, 38S and 40L sizes. There are two Peak Dry options in both a 38S and 40L option if your adventure is taking you somewhere wet and you need to ensure your gear stays dry.

With wide, padded shoulder straps and an equally robust and padded hip belt, the PEAK 45 Pack is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust to your body type. It has a full-contact back panel that uses Swisswool for moisture management and added comfort with integrated reinforced metal struts to help distribute the load evenly on your back. Like the back panel, the shoulder straps and hip belt also use this same Swisswool wool fleece to help you stay dry and comfortable. In addition to the top access, the PEAK 45 Pack has a circumferential zipper that allows you to open the pack fully like a suitcase to easily find whatever you need. With two zippers, you can open the PEAK 45 fully or just in the area you want to access for added versatility and the ability to better protect its contents. There is a separate safety tool compartment on the front of the Peak 45 to gain access to your avalanche tools quickly and easily. There are also numerous attachment options for a rope, ice axe, helmet, skis, snowboard and poles, as well as separate side crampon compartments that double as water bottle holders. If you are a hydration system user then there is full integration for this option as well. On the hip belt, you’ll find one gear loop for mountaineering and climbing carabiners and a zippered pocket for easy access to smaller items.

Ortovox of course takes sustainability seriously and so the two main outer materials are made of 100% and 50% recycled polyamide. These fabrics are extremely robust, resistant to scrapes and nicks and will be durable over time. The PEAK 45 Pack contains no environmentally harmful per- or polyfluorinated chemicals (PFCs) and was produced climate-neutral, with any unavoidable CO2 emissions being offset.
Comfortable, durable, well-designed, feature-rich and with the environment in mind, the new PEAK 45 Pack is the ideal adventure pack for any objectives on your list this summer.

The Gear Pod comes in two sizes, 5L and 10L and has a padded bottom for added protection and a mesh lid so you can see what’s inside. The zipper goes around three sides for easy access and there is a sturdy handle across the top for carrying. Gregory Alpaca Gear Basket 70L
Ideal for storing larger items at home or organizing things for a camping trip and then tossing the Alpaca Gear Basket in the car for a road trip. With a rigid yet lightweight aluminum frame the Alpaca Gear Basket stays open to provide quick and easy access to anything you put in it. Built tough with integrated carry handles it excels at transporting large amounts of gear. The flexible fabric design becomes rigid when you connect the four vertical stays to the aluminium frame and when not needed it collapses down flat and stores away in the included mesh bag. I’ve used the Alpaca Gear Basket for organizing things in my car for an extended road trip or simply filled it with food and beach supplies for a day out. With so many options the Alpaca Gear Basket is truly the epitome of versatile organization.

        Gregory Alpaca Gear Box 45L
For the ultimate in gear storage and protection, the Alpaca Gear Box can’t be beaten. It is fully waterproof and dustproof (IP 65 rated) thanks to a rubber gasket that runs around the underside of the lid so rest assured no water, dirt or other debris will get to the content inside. The see-through lid allows you to see the contents of the Alpaca Gear Box without having to open it which is super handy if you have multiple boxes. The lid is made from clear polycarbonate so it can withstand hard impacts and the lid’s latch system uses Gregory’s FlipFlp Dual Access Hinge design which means that you can open the lid from either side or if you want to remove it all together for even easier access. The top of the lid has channels designed into it so that water automatically drains away instead of pooling so when you open it there is no worry of water running off the lid and into the box. The Alpaca Gear Box is of course stackable for easy storage of multiple boxes and with 45L it can hold a heap of gear.

        Features:
        • Clearview Lid designed with a gasket seal for waterproof and dustproof protection
        • IP 65 is rated to be waterproof and dustproof by passing a water jet test when sprayed from any angle
        • Removable lid with combination hinge/latch design that allows the lid to be opened from either side
        • Moulded bottom with side grab handle designed to take heavy hits when loaded up

        • Transparent Polycarbonate lid can handle high impacts to protect valuable gear

        Shokz OpenRun Pro Mini
Most wireless earbuds fit in your ears and cut off exterior noise which can be a problem in urban environments or while running. This is where the Shokz Open Run Pro Mini headphones excel since they are Open-Ear headphones which use Bone Conduction Technology. That’s right, these wireless sports headphones allow for total awareness of your surroundings in a bud-free design that provides comfortable listening. Most sound is transmitted through the air to our eardrums, however, bone-conduction headphones transmit sound through vibrations on the bones of the head and jaw. The sounds from these headphones bypass the eardrum and relay sound directly to the inner ear so you can still hear your surroundings.

The OpenRun Pro Mini is the lightest headphone to date in the Shokz lineup and is engineered with outstanding sound, a long-lasting battery, and a Quick Charge capability. This new “Mini” version uses a 0.83-inch shorter band than their standard size, making it ideal for smaller head sizes and for those who prefer a more snug fit. Their IP67 rating makes them completely sweat and waterproof for intense workouts and harsh weather and their 8-hour Battery Life has a 10-minute Quick Charge for up to 1.5 hours of battery life. Controls include play, skip, pause, and back-a-track, you can enjoy music, calls, audiobooks, and podcasts all day long. Powered by patented 8th-generation bone conduction, Bluetooth 5.1, and PremiumPitch™ 2.0+, OpenRun delivers clear sound, powerful volume, and rich bass.

        Rab Muon 40 Backpack
If you want to move faster then you have to go lighter and that’s the principle behind Rab’s new Muon 40 Backpack. This is Rab’s foray into ultralight packs it uses a streamlined sturdy design to provide all the features you can think of, all without adding additional weight. At 40L the Muon is ideal as an ultralight multi-day trekking pack but if you need more room then consider the 50L version of the Muon. Both are available in men’s and women’s versions. The women’s pack is built with narrower dimensions which makes them ideal for women with smaller bodies.

At just 0.895kg / 1lb 16oz, the Muon 40 is truly lightweight thanks mostly in part to the use of the Spectra Ripstop fabric. This durable and lightweight fabric is also UV-resistant and built to take some abuse despite its light weight. The Spectra fibres, realtime to their weight are 15 times stronger than steel and are woven with Cordura nylon to form a rip-stop grip that easily withstand day-to-day abuse.

Despite its diminutive weight, the Muon 40 Backpack can comfortably shoulder heavy loads thanks to its close-fitting TRI-FLEX™ carry system which features a wraparound harness, shaped lumbar pad, and supportive hip belt. TO adjust the overall fit and stability you can adjust the Muon 40 suspension by using the forward pull, on the hip belt and snugging up the built-in ultralight compression straps. The lower compression straps also double as a way to affix a sleeping mat.

The Muon 40 Backpack has a roll top design which allows for easy access to internal items and can compress and expand as your requirements warrant. There is also a large front stash pocket that is a convenient place to quickly stash extra layers, while the two side stash pockets are ideal for water carry. If you need more water or prefer to use a hydration bladder, the Muon 40 Backpack can accommodate a 3L hydration bladder inside. There are also harness pockets which provide on-the-go access to snacks and smaller items.

As you can see, the Muon 40 Backpack is the ideal lightweight pack for long-distance thru-hiking and fast-trekking.
