Whitewater snowpack status

The 2013/14 ski season is going to be one of the less memorable in recent years due to the lack of typically consistent snow. With a base hovering in the mid 200 cm's the Kootenays are certainly not average this year but you wouldn't know it by looking at this photo of a recent snow pit we dug to ground:

Keep in mind that person is 6'3" and the pit is 330cm deep, well above the regional average I would think. It makes it tough to do a compression test when you cannot reach the top but still interesting to dig to ground to see just how deep things are and it also provides some good photos for those flat-landers and easterners who have never seen so much snow.

Results from a not so deep pit on March 8th at 1924m on a north aspect in the Whitewater backcountry revealed CTE 8 20cm down in the recent storm snow, CTM 3 down 45cm and CTM6 down 65cm. The last result being the only planar result and still in the recent storm snow. 

Now that it has rained to over 2000m everything has changed yet again, anyone have any more recent results?
