Pieps Statement Regarding Issues with DSP Beacons

Pieps has issued a statement regarding their DSP Pro and DSP Sport Avalanche Transceivers after calls for a product recall gained momentum on social media. Several accounts of a mechanical failure in the lock mechanism have now been posted or re-posted on various social platforms after several professional skiers were involved in a serious accident in which a DSP Pro failed. Despite calls for an outright recall, Pieps is offering to upgrade DSP Pro and DSP Sport models for those who express concern.
