Comp Dome Glacier
Just another day of powder skiing with friends in Rogers Pass. Deep snow and some sun always equal a good time. This photo was taken on the morraines just below the Dome glacier, the first run was great, so we decided to go for a second. The feature behind is known as "the Cleaver" which separates the Asulkan glacier from the Dome glacier. The Dome and Asulkan glaciers offer some nice powder skiing, not too steep, but fully enjoyable. Frankly, the setting is pretty cool. Walking up the via the Asulkan Valley never ceases to blow my mind, just like it did the first time.
