Teammate backcountry, touring skiing, split boarding Rockies
hello everybody, I'm looking for people to do some nice backcountry ski tours with! I'll stay in Canada until the 26th April and all the time I'm looking for the best snow and the best areas to go. I would be glad to find someone to stay with for some days, maybe a week or even longer if it fits. I got lots of experiences in the European alps and now I'd like to do some little "expeditions" in the Canadian Rockies. I'm well prepared for all this stuff in general, and I even got an avalanche rescue system. So led me know if you are interested to join me! where? Kootenays... 'Interior' of BC, Banff area.. Jasper.. Valemont or Blue River? Whistler?
Do you have a vehicle or use of a vehicle for 'back country' trips (that is- not a rental) ?
Max- you say you're experienced in European Alps.. so, 'lift assisted' backcountry/ slack country?
I think your description of expedition is grately different then mine. Do you mean you hope to try some (backcountry) huts.. tenting.. hotels or doing laps out of ski area boundaries?
Just trying to help you here and make sure you don't waste your time, but your post is sorta... vague

Ok to make that clear^^ I have touring skis and I want to do laps out of ski area boundaries, but lift assisted is also ok :) Normally day trips, but if there is a two day tour with a hut it might also be an option. I think I will move from Calgary to Banff and then to Revelstoke or Kelowna, but in fact it also depends on the person that maybe likes to join me.
Up to now I got no car, so if there is someone who is interested, it might be an option to rent a car together.
