Edmonton lines, where do I put this? SOAP BOX
We jokingly stated while bootpacking up a steep ridge below treeline through a snowpack consisting entirely of facets that there was more snow in the city. It's been a weird winter so far with plenty of cold snaps and freezing rain events. But the snow has fallen and the hills around town are turning white. And with nothing but grass, clay, gravel, bushes and the occasional log under the snow, there really doesn't need to be that much of a base before it becomes game on.
You could sit on your couch drinking beer, watching the game, and lamenting about being stuck in a cold desolate wasteland that is 7hrs from Rogers Pass, or you could get out and shred!
Fortunately the ski cut safely cleared away any instability
